Last Post for July Challenge#48: Bunch of Flowers

Hello Peeps

I was just looking through the entries for this month and realising how clever people are to create some of their amazing pieces: and then there is the super work of the DT. They just blow me away!

You have a week left to enter the current challenge. We are heading into spring at a fast clip, and there are already lambs and other small animals making their way into the world. This Mum sheep and her two lambs, photographed near Dunally - the town that was devastated by fire two years ago - are certainly making the most of the good winter feed!

I quite like a lamb roast - don't you!

A Reminder:  the challenge for July is to Grab a Bunch - of Flowers!
Get creative and make some flowers - in fact the twist is to make a garden!

Prize

Other Stuff:
  1. Still need more people to join up as followers to make the 300 so that a prize will be announced! It will be a random draw from the last 10 people to join for the prize once it reaches 300+.
  2. As mentioned earlier, we have said goodbye to several of the Design Team this month - therefore we have some places to fill if you are interested in joining. If you would like to be part of the team, please send me an email with a link to your blog or display page and reasons why you think you would be a good fit with our ideals and team - suhogan(@)gmail(dot)com
Now we still have a couple of new pieces of work for you to look at - and admire - and get inspired to create.

While my flower making is not the most creative or amazing, unlike Shylaa's wonderful flowers, I know there are some of you out there who are fabulous at creating roses, and similar! We would love to see your attempts and look forward to your entry.

Who would have Thunk It........

....we are halfway through July! Only six months to Christmas folks!

However, it is still the middle of winter here, and Santa would freeze his toes off in that get-up, not mention other parts of his anatomy! I realise he would survive in those parts north of the equator however, and expect there are a few people having a Christmas in July party and wondering how we eat all that heavy food at Christmas down here! The answer is of course, we don't usually eat all the heavy food - it's seafood, and salads and cold ham and turkey, with icecream plum puddings, along with ice cold wine and beer! Santa would fit right in in that get-up!

Why am I wittering on about summer and such stuff? Because the DT has been channelling summer and spring in their DT Inspiration for you this week, for the Unstampabelles Challenge #48 Grab a Bunch - of Flowers,  that's why!

Challenge#48: Grab a Bunch.....of Flowers!

Yep, we are still here! We go live on the first Monday of each month and that, this month, is the 6th July. Winner's from June will be announced next week, the second Monday.

As well, I have been watching the number of followers creeping up, and I will be offering a small prize for the 300'th follower to join Unstampabelles. The prize for this will be announced next week too! I notice the number is currently at 295.........
If you are a lurker, now is the time to join!

Firstly, to all our American friends: HAPPY 4TH JULY

I hope all you who live in the US of A have had a great 4th of July celebration and are now ready to settle down to the craft desk and create now!

I believe it has been a bit wet and steamy in the UK and parts of Europe - hope the summer is well and truly in place and you are all enjoying a welcome break. Here in Australia, we are in the grip of a cold spell, although we need rain in many parts, including Tasmania. But that is what winter is about - being cold.   I love winter but I also cannot wait for Spring and the first flowers to push their way forward.........

.....which brings me to our latest challenge for July!

Grab a Bunch - of Flowers!
Get creative and make some flowers - in fact the twist is to make a garden!

Prize
An embossing folder of flowers

We are saying goodbye to several of the Design Team this month, and wishing them well on their future endeavors. Therefore we have some places to fill if you are interested in joining. If you would like to be part of the tam, please send me an email with a link to your blog or display page and reasons why you think you would be a good fit with our ideals and team - suhogan(@)gmail(dot)com

So, to Tracey Mowbray, Tracey Fehr and Urvarshi Rao - many thanks for being on the team and for your amazing creations and all the best for your future crafting, and life with family and employment!

Now, to inspire you and give you some ideas, the team (those who are still here!)  have come up with the following to get the creative juices flowing.........

Why not go over to the DT's sites and learn how these creations came into being, and get a closer look.

Then you can create your own flowers and/or garden and show us what you have achieved by entering your work here.
