Hello Peeps

Just a quick post to explain that our next Challenge does not go live until the 7th April.  The turn around was a little fast for the DT to be expected to keep up, from the end of the last one the the beginning of the next, so I had added an extra few days. It also means I can keep to the timetable of last Friday of the month to finish, and first Monday of the month to begin a new challenge! So, new Challenge goes live on the 7th April!

A sneak peak of the new challenge may be coming before start  - and I will, of course, be announcing the winner's of the last challenge next week anyway, so stay turned for that! In the meantime, think Easter, think soft.................and begin to plan that next entry into the world of creating without using stamps of any kind! It's a great place to be!

Some more inspiration from Margaret!

Margaret has made another card to inspire you all to enter in this final week of Unstampabelles Challenge #33.  In fact Margaret had this card made and ready to be posted yesterday but I was too super organised and forgot to check for any more after pieces from the team after scheduling my post earlier in the weekend! Sorry Margaret - and it is such a great piece of inspiration too!

Card is rectangle, picture is circle (it is not a stamp), square around picture, star washi tape.  Ribbon from Annabelle Stamps.

Isn't that nifty! Great card Margaret - thanks!

Don't forget Peeps - we close on the 28th at Midnight
You can find the challenge HERE.

The Design team have come up with a few new inspirations for you to get going on your design.  Why not pop over to their blogs ans see how they put these together and leave them some love:

The entire card has been created using my Silhouette Cameo print and cut features.

Merry - (Who is DT Guesting here for this one). I had so much fun creating this.  Thanks so much for the Sprinkles from Annabelles.  I will have to look at some other colours as they are so lovely and shiny. :-)
I have circles, rectangles and triangles.  The sentiment is a Stampin Up rub-on.

Margaret:  Card is a rectangle, layered paper tole pixie on circle and then square, sticker Merry Christmas on oval, added star and triangle Christmas tree.  Added circle rhinestones

Challenge #33 - Geometric Shapes!

Well, obviously our last challenge was just that - a bit of a challenge for some of you who don't like to get your hands dirty when crafting - I usually don't but sometimes I just want to dive in and smear and paint and swipe and splash........anyway, those of you who did have a go produced some fabulous pieces and we had great fun commenting on them and reading all about your differing journeys. Just a reminder to read the rules before you enter please. Several entries had to be discounted because they failed to follow the rules.

However, there is only one winner and the person who has won this fabulous prize from

Sticker Store Craft Stickers
Thanks Mandy!

Now, OUR NEW CHALLENGE

How do you see the world? In circles and curves and bubbles, or lines, and squares and angles? A mixture of both? What colour are shapes? For me anything with a curve is in the warmer colours and all the angles and straight lines and box shapes are in the cooler range. How about you?

Challenge #33 is to create a CARD or SCRAP PAGE

The TWIST this month - if you can face this challenge - make sure you have at least THREE different shapes on your paper-based project.

The DT have come up with some amazing inspiration for you all but we also have a Guest Designer this month. Please pop over to visit Laney and see how clever she is with images and Promarkers too, but for us today she has made this gorgeous card without using any stamps.

Now the rest of our DT have some more inspiration for you:

Jan's sentiment is created with her Silhouette and sketch pens

Beth used punches, and embossing for texture, with the 4 & U being rub-ons.

Tracey came across this adorable easel card file at My ScrapChick...and the first thing she did was start counting shapes...rectangles in the fence, circles on the fence posts as well as the centre sentiment, an elongated oval for the card stop, and of course triangles for those adorable birdie beaks! She rummaged through her stash for suitable rub-ons for this project, and came up empty handed...so her own handwriting it was!

There's rectangles, hexagons, heart and circle.

From Sarah

Sarah says: "For this card, I used repeating geometric shapes: squares, circles, rectangles and stars. The sentiment is a combination of chipboard and stickers."

Susan: rectangles, squares (behind the rectangle), circles, ovals in the leaves

Well, there you have it.  There are lots of geometric shapes represented here and if you visit the blogs of the team you will be able to see how the cards and pages were created.  Don't forget to leave them some love as well! So, great prize and great inspiration -what else is needed? Oh yes, the Linky - see it below?  Just add your card or scrap page to the linky - link directly to your relevant post - and don't forget to mention us and link back. No stamps please.
